Luke O'Brien, founder of OB Watch Group

My name is Luke O'Brien, and I'm the founder and owner of OB Watch Group. I'm from Minnesota and graduated from Creighton University with a degree in Financial Analytics.

I've always had an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong work ethic and an appreciation for the finer things in life. That appreciation grew into a passion for luxury watches, and it's what inspired me to start OB Watch Group.

One of my favourite parts of this business is meeting new people, building lasting relationships and helping clients find timepieces they can enjoy for years and, hopefully, pass down to future generations.

Outside of watches, I enjoy golfing, surfing, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

How OB Watch Group works

• By appointment and over video. Twin Cities buyers meet me in person; everyone else sees the watch on a FaceTime or Zoom call before paying.
• Instagram first. New pieces are posted on @obwatchgroup as they come in; the site is where each one gets a page, a spec sheet and a form.
• One person, start to finish. From the first text to the tracking number, you deal with me.
